Service Agreement for Task Mate

This Service Agreement (“Agreement”) outlines the terms under which Task Mate (“I,” “me,” or “the provider”) supplies office support, errands, deliverables, event help, scanning, marketing assistance, and other services (“Services”) to you (“the client”). By booking a service, contacting Task Mate, or using the website, you agree to the terms below.

1. Description of Services
Task Mate provides flexible, on-demand business support including, but not limited to:

Office assistance

Filing and organization
-
Scanning and document preparation
-
Errand running and deliveries
-
Mailing services
-
Event setup or support
-
Marketing materials
-
Social media or website updates
-
General administrative tasks
Services may be customized based on client needs and availability.

2. Scheduling & Availability

Services are provided by appointment only.

Appointment times are not guaranteed until confirmed.

Same-day or next-day availability may vary.

Task Mate reserves the right to decline tasks that are unsafe, unlawful, or beyond the scope of offered services.
3. Pricing & Payment Terms

Services are billed at the rates listed on the Task Mate website or communicated directly to the client.

Additional charges may apply for:
-
Mileage or travel outside the primary service area
-
Materials or supplies purchased on the client’s behalf
-
Rush or after-hours requests
-
Payment is due when the project is complete unless other arrangements are made in writing.
Task Mate accepts:

Cash
-
Credit/debit card
-
Digital payment options (if applicable)
Unpaid invoices may incur late fees after 30 days.

4. Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to:

Provide accurate information and instructions
-
Ensure access to the property, office, or materials needed

Notify Task Mate of any changes to appointment details
-
Use the services in a lawful and reasonable manner
Task Mate is not responsible for delays caused by unavailable materials, incorrect instructions, or limited access.

5. Confidentiality
Task Mate respects your privacy and treats all documents, files, and business information with confidentiality.
I will not share, sell, or disclose your information to others unless:

Required by law, or
-
Explicitly authorized by the client
Digital files and physical documents will be handled with care and stored only as needed to complete the service.

6. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Clients may cancel or reschedule up to 24 hours before an appointment.
-
Cancellations under 24 hours may incur a fee.
-
If Task Mate must cancel due to emergencies or unforeseen circumstances, the appointment will be rescheduled with priority.

8. Liability
Task Mate does not carry general business liability insurance.
However, Task Mate is not liable for:

Losses caused by incomplete or incorrect information provided by the client
-
Delays outside of reasonable control (weather, traffic, office closures, etc.)
-
Pre-existing damage to materials, equipment, or paperwork
The liability of Task Mate, if any, is limited to the cost of the services provided.

9. Independent Contractor
Task Mate operates as an independent contractor.
Nothing in this Agreement creates an employer-employee relationship, partnership, or joint venture.

10. Changes to This Agreement
Task Mate may update this Agreement as needed.
The most current version will always be available on the website.
Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
